By attending our elegant 'cinq à sept' pre-concert fundraiser on October 25th at Sous-Sol, not only will you experience one of Winnipeg’s best restaurants and cocktail bars, you’ll be supporting the MCO.

Sample stellar hors d’oeuvres and artisanal cocktails/mocktails while taking in a fascinating dialogue between Dinuk Wijeratne and Shawn Mativetsky, two of Canada’s musical greats, facilitated by the MCO’s own Dr. Suzu Enns. Then, when the clock strikes seven, walk five minutes from the Osborne restaurant to Crescent Arts Centre. There you’ll see Shawn and Dinuk again — pioneers in the world of bridging Western and Indian classical music – put music where their mouths were by performing a rousing concert with the MCO at 7.30pm.

Your ticket in either the $65 Friend or $90 Patron categories includes one drink, hors d’oeuvres, reserved seating at the concert (tickets sold separately), a tax receipt ($25 for Friend; $50 for Patron) — and the experience of a Winnipeg’s best hidden speakeasy, evoking prohibition era secrecy and Jazz Age glamour.
