Create a Legacy of Music.

A planned gift to the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra is a meaningful way to reflect your values and ensure that the MCO continues to inspire, connect, and engage communities across Manitoba for generations to come. By including the MCO in your long-term plans, you can make a lasting difference—helping future audiences experience the same connection, inspiration, and joy that music brings you today.

As you consider your options, we encourage you to consult with your professional advisors. Gifts of any size make a meaningful impact, helping sustain this work for decades to come.  There are several ways to create your legacy.

RRSPs, RRIFs, or TFSAs

You can name the MCO as a full or partial beneficiary of your registered accounts.

LIFE INSURANCE

Naming the MCO as a beneficiary of a policy can allow you to make a significant future gift at a relatively low current cost.

A GIFT IN YOUR WILL (BEQUEST)

One of the most common and flexible ways to create your legacy is through a gift in your will. You may designate a specific amount, assets such as securities, a percentage of your estate, or the residue after other gifts.

These decisions are deeply personal. We understand that family and loved ones come first, and we are grateful for your consideration. If you choose to include the MCO in your plans, we would appreciate hearing from you. This is not binding, but allows us to thank you and ensure your gift is used as intended. All conversations are confidential and your gift remains fully revocable. The following sample wording may be helpful:

“I give [insert amount, percentage, or description of asset] to Manitoba Chamber Orchestra Inc., charitable registration number 11903 0187 RR0001, for its charitable purposes.” (Please share this wording with your lawyer or advisor to ensure it reflects your intentions.)

If you have further questions about planned giving or would like to discuss your options, we would be happy to speak with you — always without pressure and in complete confidence. Contact:
