As the nights grow longer, we’re making room for a little warmth and whimsy.

Join the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra at Devil May Care Brewing on November 17 for Warmth & Whimsy: An MCO Soirée — a cozy evening of music, food, drinks, and conversation. Settle in with friends and enjoy an evening of live music and good company while helping sustain the MCO’s work onstage and in our community.

Violist and frequent MCO collaborator Jennifer Thiessen joins us for a performance and artist talk. Her musical life spans historical repertoire and new music, which she creates through improvisation and collaboration with composers.

The evening’s menu takes its cue from the season: warm, generous, and just a little unexpected. Familiar fall ingredients mingle with bright herbs, gentle heat, smoke, and spice, bringing a touch of whimsy to comforting flavours. Served in small bites throughout the evening, it’s food made for grazing, gathering, and discovering something new, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

Tickets are $75 each or 2 for $130. Tickets are all-inclusive, with food, two drinks, performance, and $33 (single) or $55 (pair) charitable tax receipt included.
